The gear for Amalur will be Mass Effect inspired, and ME 3 gear will fantasy fare a la Amalur - including gear designed by comics legend Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn. The DLC will come in the form of in-game items. EA announced this cross-promotion today, with the Amalur demo releasing on January 17, and no date yet set for Mass Effect 3's demo. Downloading the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo will get you free DLC in Mass Effect 3, and vice versa.
